When you say that you have J2EE 1.3.1 where did you get that from? I'm more used to seeing J2EE distributed as part of an application server like WebLogic or something. Or is this part of the Sun app server?

Let us know!

Re:Installing J2EE

I did a course online through a College call Computer Training Insitiute (thats where I studied java to become qualified).

They Send the software on a CD with all the programs that I needed i.e.

J2SDK1.4.2 (Java 2 Sun Development Kit).
J2ME
J2EE 1.3.1

When i was studying, all that I needed to do to start the server was to go to a command prompt and type:

<c:\>j2ee -verbose

and that would start the server.
Is there a better way to install J2EE. If so please let me know!
