hi guys , am a beginer in the programing field and i need a serouise help for my final year project ,i have to write a simple java applet for chat room which only send and accept a text message.(server and multi clients). please help me to start writing my program .
i know how to craete a socket and accept connection from the clients but not multiclients and how to open an input/output stream. thats all

please help on this .

I've started a how to article on at least the framework of somthing that would work for you. We would be glad to help you modify the code to be more like a chat application.

The code I started was for a HTTP server but the point where it is at it could go either way. There is no client yet but that wouldn't be too bad to do.

Let us know where you need help.
