Hi,
I'm unable to compile java util programmes from Complete Reference.
The error message I get is:

Note: Java uses unchecked or unsafe operations.
Note: Recompile with -Xlint:Unchecked for details.

I'm new to Java. Kindly help.

This is actually just a warning - the code should have compiled. If you post the code you're using we can show you what to change to get rid of the warning.
