Inputing a number into an array  XML

Things to do:
-Add five extra elements into array
-Add a number
-Make sure # not in Array, f so do not add
-Replace #
-Number must be in array to replace
-Delete #

Im trying to get when n = 4 to input a number into the array. Secondly ive been reading code on how to delete a number via scanner but i cant figure out the code.

I'm not sure I understand the question. Are you trying to reallocate the array to a one with a larger size? Or are you trying to replace a specific element?
